Jeannette Haazen shows perseverance

26 January 2008

The biggest applause however is not deserved by the winners, but by Dutch Jeannette Haazen. Accompanied by her husband and trainer Chris she reached the fourth position and 65,125% in Grand Prix. Her competing can be called a miracle. On their way to the first World Cup™ Qualifier in Odense in November, they had a serious car-accident when hitting a not enlightened not riding car on the road.

After serious surgery and hospitalizing the pair was present again at the sixth World Cup™ qualifier edition in Amsterdam. Chris is not able to walk properly yet, however he is able to teach and coach his wife. Talking about mentality and perseverance!
