itemprop=\"text\" ><p>This afternoon at Jumping Amsterdam, Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale (by Lord Leatherdale) lived up to their favorite status. Scoring an impressive 79.500%, the world champions from Herning claimed victory in the Grand Prix, which serves as a warm-up for tomorrow\u2019s World Cup freestyle. The judging panel was unanimous in awarding Fry and Glamourdale the win, just as they were in selecting the runner-up. Joining Charlotte Fry in the prize ceremony was her fellow Brit, Becky Moody, who scored 77.087% with J\u00e4gerbomb (by Dante Weltino). Rounding out the podium was Nanna Skodborg Merrald with the 17-year-old Jazz son Blue Hors Don Olymbrio, who achieved a score of 74.370%.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Regular Guest Isabell Werth<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Isabell Werth, a longstanding guest at Jumping Amsterdam, competed with the stallion DSP Quantaz (by Quaterback) and earned a score of 74.109%. Following Werth was Dinja van Liere, the best-performing Dutch rider, finishing fifth. Riding Hartsuijker, a son of Johnson bred by Jumping Amsterdam board member Irene Wolfs, Van Liere scored 73.652%.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Klimke Ahead of Minderhoud<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>German rider Ingrid Klimke partnered with the 1.90m tall Vayron NRW (by Vitalis), a relatively new mount for her, to score 73.326%, landing in sixth place. This was enough to edge out Hans Peter Minderhoud, who scored 72.565% with Glock\u2019s Taminiau.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>A Minor Mistake in the Changes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale delivered top marks in their usual standout movements, such as the extended canter and the two-tempi changes. However, a minor mistake in the one-tempi changes kept their score just shy of 80%.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>\u2018He\u2019s Getting Better and Better\u2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>\u201cGlamourdale was amazing in the test,\u201d said an enthusiastic Charlotte Fry. \u201cHe\u2019s getting better and better. We had a small mistake in the one-tempi changes, but I forgive him for that. There are always things to improve because I\u2019m always striving for perfection. He loves performing in arenas like this.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong>\u2018Excited for the Freestyle\u2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>\u201cThis is his first time here in Amsterdam, and he\u2019s truly enjoying himself. It\u2019s such a pleasure to ride him. I\u2019m really looking forward to the freestyle tomorrow. Whether we win or not, he\u2019s in fantastic form, and we\u2019ll give it our best. Hopefully, it will be enough.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong>A Dual Role<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Glamourdale is not just a top sport horse but also a breeding stallion. \u201cHe\u2019s been doing both his whole life. Breeding comes naturally to him. He has such a good temperament and knows when to switch between breeding and sport. He\u2019s very intelligent. He\u2019ll be available for breeding again this season.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong>European Championships Are the Main Goal<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Looking ahead, Fry has her sights set on the European Championships as the primary goal for the coming season. \u201cThat\u2019s what we\u2019re working toward. I also plan to compete in the World Cup qualifier in Den Bosch, but I\u2019m not yet sure which horse I\u2019ll take.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\"
