The 65th edition of this leading equestrian event offers a combination of world-class sport, dynamic entertainment, and the distinctive Amsterdam atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anniversary year with additional grandstands<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since its first edition in 1958, Jumping Amsterdam has become a fixture on the international equestrian calendar. Due to growing interest, the grandstand capacity will be expanded to allow more fans to experience the anniversary edition up close.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat began in 1958 as a sporting encounter has developed into an international top-level event that Amsterdam can be proud of,\u201d says Paul Riemens, Chairman of Jumping Amsterdam. \u201cIn our anniversary year, we acknowledge that history and celebrate the connection between city, sport, and audience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Top-Level Sport and Experience Combined<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the start of the year in which the World Equestrian Games will be held, the top international riders in dressage and jumping will compete not only for prizes but also to demonstrate their form. Jumping Amsterdam provides opportunities for young, talented riders, and the youngest visitors can share their enthusiasm for horses during the children\u2019s morning. The event also features a lively trade fair and the unmistakable urban flair that characterizes the event, including the well-known Amsterdam evening programs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is notable how much attention Jumping Amsterdam receives even weeks before ticket sales begin,\u201d says Irene Verheul, Director of Jumping Amsterdam. \u201cThis shows how strongly the event is embraced by the public.
