With a score of 80.000%, the world champions from Herning won the Grand Prix, which serves as preparation for tomorrow&#8217;s World Cup freestyle to music. The judges were not unanimous in their choice of the winning combination. Charlotte was placed in the lead by Maria Colliander, Magnus Ringmark, and Francis Verbeek-van Rooy, while Mariette Sanders-van Gansewinkel and Susanne Baarup thought her test deserved second place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Isabell Werth narrowly second<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Isabell Werth and her top mare Wendy de Fontaine (by Sezuan) were not far behind Charlotte Fry. The German dressage queen rode Wendy de Fontaine to 79.131%. Mariette Sanders-van Gansewinkel and Susanne Baarup declared the pair the winners, while Magnus Ringmark and Francis Verbeek-van Rooy placed them in second place. Maria Colliander awarded their test third place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Becky Moody third with 77.239%<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Becky Moody took third place with the 12-year-old KWPN gelding Jagerbomb (by Dante Weltino OLD). The British rider scored 77.239% with the gelding.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marieke van der Putten best Dutch rider<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Marieke van der Putten achieved the best result for the Netherlands. With Zantana RS2 OLD N.O.P. (by Zonik), she rode a fantastic test and received a score of 74.826%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThe flying changes stood out for me today.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It went really well, and he&#8217;s such a great stallion to ride. I was very happy with the piaffes, because they have improved with him. He had to sneeze in the flying changes, but luckily it worked out well. Everything in the test was actually a highlight, but the flying changes stood out for me today. We are now at the same level as we were at the World Cup qualifier in London in December.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Goal: World Championships in Aachen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After Amsterdam, I will make further plans with him. I will probably ride him at The Dutch Masters in Den Bosch, because I really enjoy riding in this competition. Our biggest goal this year is to ride at the World Championships in Aachen in August.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cWe always have a great time in Amsterdam\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope we&#8217;ll have fun in the freestyle tomorrow. We&#8217;ll be riding to the same music as in London, which was fantastic. Hopefully we can show that again tomorrow. It&#8217;s always fantastic to ride here.
