L\u00f6vsta Future Challenge International Dressage Tour, a U25 Grand Prix tour held during the FEI Dressage World Cup&#x2122; events in Herning, Amsterdam, and Gothenburg, has been extended for another two years. Jumping Amsterdam\u2019s Managing Director, Irene Verheul, is pleased with the continuation of this partnership:<br \/>\n\u201cWe are grateful to L\u00f6vsta Stuteri for their ongoing commitment to developing young talent. Their clear investment in youth perfectly aligns with what we stand for at Jumping Amsterdam, providing a platform for the next generation of riders. Together, we are building the future of the sport.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>A step up to the big stage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The tour was created to give promising young riders the opportunity to compete in the same arenas and professional environment as the world\u2019s top dressage athletes, serving as an important bridge between U25 Grand Prix and elite international sport.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Results that matter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The extension comes at a time when the impact of the initiative is clearly visible. Since its launch in 2022, several riders from the tour have progressed to competing and placing in the FEI Dressage World Cup&#x2122;. One of them is German rider Moritz Treffinger, who has now qualified for the FEI Dressage World Cup&#x2122; Final in Fort Worth this April. In addition, around a dozen riders from the tour have established themselves at international CDI3* level.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A strong link between talent and top sport<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Willemina van der Goes-Petter, who joined the Jumping Amsterdam board at the last edition, confirms the strength of the tour:<br \/>\n\u201cThe L\u00f6vsta Future Challenge shows how important it is to create a strong connection between talent development and top-level sport. This tour contributes to that in a meaningful way and strengthens Jumping Amsterdam\u2019s international position within dressage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>A long-term vision with impact<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Antonia Axson Johnson, owner of L\u00f6vsta Stuteri and founder of L\u00f6vsta Future Challenge, said: \u201cThe vision behind the L\u00f6vsta Future Challenge has always been to actively improve international dressage by investing in the next generation. We believe that when talented riders are given the right opportunities at the right moment in their careers, they can grow stronger and better prepared for top-level sport. It makes me proud and very happy to see former participants now competing and succeeding in the World Cup.
