Siebe Kramer in the lead in 1.35m: “It went great from start to finish.”

Siebe Kramer won the opening class of Jumping Amsterdam 2026, the Telegraaf Prize, this morning. Siebe rode the nine-year-old KWPN mare Mayflower of ZsaZsa (by Comme il Faut) clear in the 1.35m and recorded the winning time of 28.94 seconds in the jump-off.

Lotte Teuns second

The show jumper from Oud-Beijerland, who has had his own stable since 2022, was 2.69 seconds faster than Lotte Teuns, who finished second with the eight-year-old BWP mare Silvano van de Looise Heide (by Global Express).

Angelique Hoorn completes the top three

Angelique Hoorn took third place with the eight-year-old Zangersheide-registered Apart (by Aganix du Seigneur Z). The Dutch rider completed the 1.35m jump-off clear in 34.04 seconds.

Four clear rounds in the jump-off

Fourteen combinations qualified for the jump-off, which meant that they had to ride hard to be eligible for the top prize. Four combinations kept a clean slate for the second time.

“The jump-off is tailor-made for her”

Siebe Kramer: “Mayflower jumped very well in the basic course and I already had a good feeling. In the jump-off, it went great from start to finish, just as I had hoped. I wanted to ride as fast as possible and I succeeded. My horse was in good form. She was balanced and kept her composure. She is also a fast horse, so a jump-off is perfect for her.” ‘

Selection competition in Oudkarspel

“I rode in the selection competition in Oudkarspel at the Beukers riding school. We came second in the 1.35m class. It was quite a long drive, because I’m from Oud-Beijerland.”

“I trained Mayflower as a young horse”

“I also rode Mayflower’s mother, Zsa Zsa, here in Amsterdam once. We won the 1.40m class. That was quite special. I trained Mayflower as a young horse and she had a foal. My plan is to start competing with Mayflower internationally. I’m going to see what fits into the program.”

“Jumping Amsterdam always has a great atmosphere”

“It’s great fun to ride here; Jumping Amsterdam always has a wonderful atmosphere. It’s really good for the horses to experience this, because normally I only ride them at national competitions. So it’s nice to know that Mayflower can do this too.”
