Splinter Bergsma KNHS Talent of the Year: ‘So many people believe in me’
Splinter Bergsma was crowned KNHS Talent of the Year this afternoon. Splinter was chosen for his eagerness to learn, perseverance, and ability to connect people. This is Splinter’s first year as a member of the KNHS Talent Team.

Splinter Bergsma: “It’s really cool to win this award and I feel honored. So many people believe in me. I’m very good at communication and I work hard at it. I try to bring the right people together to guide me and this leads to great successes.”
Participation in Military Boekelo
“I achieved some very good results as a youth rider last season. I was allowed to participate in Military Boekelo as a youth rider and rode among the seniors there. I came second in the Dutch Championships for seniors. I am also on the long list for the Olympic Games in the senior category. It is quite unique to be among them.”
