the 16-year-old albert pisarik just secured the win in the u25 class for the biltz prize at jumping amsterdam. as the youngest competitor, he was the first to start in the six-rider jump-off and set the winning time of 29.68 seconds with the 12-year-old oldenburg mare baltic love (by balou du rouet). siebe leemans and wesley de boer upheld dutch pride, with leemans finishing second aboard the 10-year-old grey gem vd riloo z (by gemini) in 30.32 seconds. wesley de boer matched that time with the 10-year-old kwpn mare kaphira (by corland), sharing second place with leemans.
First international 1.45m course
pisarik: ‘’baltic love is a very fast horse, and she helped me take the win tonight. she jumped amazingly in the jump-off. i really didn’t expect to win, as this was my first international 1.45m course with her. we’ve only been a combination since may. i bought her from stal hendrix. we already had success last year and finished second in a 1.40m speed class in november.’’
