Charlotte Fry on Her Winner Glamourdale: ‘He Keeps Getting Better’

Pieter devos and his jarina j were in a class of their own today, effortlessly keeping denis lynch and vistogrand at bay. their performance secured them victory in the anemone horse trucks grand prix of amsterdam, powered by stoeterij sterrehof.

Amsterdam crowd support

“the atmosphere was incredible today,” said pieter devos. “when you enter the ring as the second-to-last rider and feel the crowd supporting you like that, it’s truly special. my mare, jarina j, gave everything today to put in a great round, and she absolutely delivered. she’s taken it easy over the past few weeks, and this was her first 1.60m in quite some time. to finish like this is amazing. i hope to wrap up jumping amsterdam just as successfully. i’m looking forward to tomorrow’s world cup.”

The RAI on fire

denis lynch took second place with his outstanding jumper vistogrand. earlier this month, he also achieved strong results with a top-10 finish in the grand prix of basel. vivantas and philipp schulze topphoff secured third place in this highly competitive class. tani joosten was the best-performing dutch rider, delivering the ride of her life with galdal me, sending the rai into a frenzy.

Standing ovation

before the grand prix, a special moment was dedicated to ivo and ellen campagne, the driving forces behind stoeterij sterrehof. since 2012, stoeterij sterrehof has been a loyal partner of jumping amsterdam. this marked the 14th and final edition of the grand prix under their sponsorship. a huge thank-you from both the organization and the audience—who gave them a well-deserved standing ovation—was in order.
