Jumping Amsterdam welcomes new board member Willemina van der Goes-Petter
The board of the Concours Hippique International Jumping Amsterdam Foundation has appointed Ms. Willemina van der Goes-Petter, LL.M., as a board member effective November 1, 2025. Within the board, she will take on the Sport and Program portfolio, a role in which her knowledge, experience, and network in equestrian sports will be of great value.
Extensive experience in equestrian sports
Willemina van der Goes-Petter is an active international eventing rider and owner of Landgoed Maarsbergen, a venue that regularly hosts equestrian events. In 2022, she was awarded the KMSV Cup for her many years of achievements and contributions at the highest level of military equestrian sport. Her background in the armed forces and long-standing involvement in the equestrian world make her a valuable addition to the Jumping Amsterdam board.
Connection to sport and tradition
In addition to her sporting career, Willemina has personal and historical ties to the royal family and belongs to the Godin de Beaufort family, which has a long-standing tradition of sporting and social engagement in the Netherlands.
“We are delighted to welcome Willemina to the board. Her experience in equestrian sports, strategic vision, and ability to connect people align perfectly with the direction of Jumping Amsterdam,” said Chairman Paul Riemens.
