Jumping Amsterdam 2011, that takes place from 20 until 23 January in the Amsterdam RAI, seems far away. But behind the scenes the organisation is already working on the preparations for the upcoming event. On Wednesday 26 May the ‘Jumping Get-Together’ took place for 100 relations and partners at the brand new Equestrian Center of Anky van Grunsven at Erp.

The meeting was opened by chairman of the board Hans Bakker who presented the plans for the future of Jumping Amsterdam. Sport director Rogier van Iersel accounted for the sport technical side of the event. Finally Joost van Dijk, manager PR & Marketing at head sponsor BMC, explained why they choose to support the Dutch equestrian sport structurally and in which ways they successfully benefit from it. There was a clinic by host Anky van Grunsven and the guests of the exclusive gathering were treated to a tour through the new training center. At the end, the guests (who form the indispensable base of Jumping Amsterdam)  could  meet on an informal level.
